Frequently Asked Questions
  • What items can you frame?

Turner Framing Belfast has a 'Guild Commended Framing' Qualification and can frame almost anything.

We specialise in Fine Art and Photography but we also have lots of experience framing Football Shirts, Needle Works, Tapestries and 3D Objects. We also provide a Stretcher Building and Canvas Stretching service for artists and collectors.

  • How much will it cost to frame my picture?

The cost will depend on a number of factors. This includes the size of the frame, the width and height of the artwork, not forgetting the material you require for your frame.

Your work may also require a mount, UV protection or non-reflective glass. These options can all affect the price and we would advise contacting Turner Framing for a quote or calling in for a chat.

  • How long will it take to frame something?

Turner Framing endeavours to have a 7-10 working days turnaround. At busier times of the year such as late November and December, it my take up to two weeks to complete your work.

Turner Framing will try where possible to provide a quicker turnaround if required.

  • Will my picture be ready to hang on the wall?

All frames are finished with cord and are ready to hang. If you have a smaller picture we can also supply a standing back so it can sit on a table or dresser. Special brackets and mirror plates are available on request.

  • What sort of glass do you use?

Turner Framing Belfast uses a standard 2mm picture framing glass. We also provide a number of specialist glass options including Non-reflective, 99% UV,  and maximum clarity museum standard glass.

  • Can I have Perspex?

Turner Framing offers a number of Perspex options including 2mm - 3mm clear and 3mm UV Museum quality protection.

Turner Framing Belfast would recommend Perspex on over sized artworks and framing required for family rooms and childrens bedrooms.
