Turner Framing was established in 2019 by Professional Artist and Guild Commended Framer David Turner.
David has a unique perspective on the art scene in Belfast and further afield by combining his knowledge of Contemporary and Traditional Fine Art and his extensive experience working for some of the top Galleries and Picture Framing Workshops in Belfast.
David has been working as an artist and professional picture framer in Belfast Northern Ireland for over 30 years. He obtained his BA Honours and MFA Degrees from Ulster University 2001 - 2006 and his Guild Commended Framer 'GCF' qualification in 2009.
Starting as fresh faced 19 year old in a gallery on the upper Lisburn Road, David spent eight years learning his profession, becoming a specialist in conservation framing. Over the next five years David worked for an established commercial framing gallery in Belfast City Centre where he pursued his skill and knowledge, offering his advice and experience to a wider range of customer needs.
This included providing advice to collectors and interior designers as well as providing a friendly service to customers wishing to buy art and limited edition prints for their homes. David continues to run Turner Framing whilst pursuing his interest in urban art.
